| We show that some problems mentioned in the title may be transformed to straight-line regression models with non-constant variances. Therefore it is important to develop general rules how one can determine D-optimal designs for straight-line regressions with arbitrary non-constant variances and arbitrary experimental region. In the talk some results in this direction are given. Especially, exact D-optimal designs are considered. |
