SYMBOLIC CONPUTATIONS

Outline:

Symbolic computation deals with problems not solvable by numerical methods, e.g. the indefinite integration. This course introduces its background knowledge and basic algorithms.

Objective:

We study the basic representations and algebraic algorithms used by computer algebra systems like Mathematica and Maple.
